Arrived in Guatemala City

Below is the post I wrote last night but was unable to post because of internet issues.

I'm here.  I'm really in Guatemala.  Dos Lunas is a lovely hostel.  There is a large group of young women staying here from the Rochester area in New York.  They are headed to Quetzaltenango to a different language school.  Then there is the young dad from Portland, Russell, who is going to the same school as me - Proyecto Linguistico. 

People have been gracious and understanding, especially of my "only the present tense" Spanish.  The wifi at the hostel is not the greatest, so I will most likely be posting this tomorrow in Xela (Quetzaltenango).
